Delete your Chakra account

Last updated 11 October 2026 · Applies to the Chakra mobile app and chakra.deepvalley.in

You can delete your Chakra account and the personal data attached to it at any time. This page explains both ways to do it, and lists exactly what goes and what stays.

From inside the app — fastest

Open Chakra and go to Settings → Delete account. The app shows you a count of everything that will be removed before you confirm, and asks you to retype your phone number so a mis-tap cannot destroy your history. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

Without the app

If you have uninstalled Chakra or cannot sign in, email connect@deepvalley.in from any address, with the subject Delete my Chakra account, and include the phone number on the account.

We will call or message that number to confirm the request is really from you — an email alone is not proof, and we are not willing to delete someone’s livelihood records because a stranger asked. Once confirmed, deletion is completed within 7 days and we write back when it is done.

What gets deleted

Your account
Name, phone number, email, age and the village, panchayat, block, district and PIN code on your profile. The account record itself is removed, not flagged as closed.
Everywhere you have been
Every GPS position recorded from your phone, and the route of every trip you made. On one active account that is around 13,000 recorded positions. These are destroyed, not anonymised.
What you wrote
Support tickets and their messages, and your whole conversation history with the in-app assistant.
Your devices
Push notification registrations for every phone you signed in on.

What stays, with your name taken off it

A battery is a physical object that DeepValley owns and will redeploy to another driver. Its measurements describe the battery, not you, so they survive deletion with the link to you removed.

Trip measurements
Distance, energy used and efficiency are kept against the vehicle. The route, start and end points are deleted.
Battery alerts and power-cut events
Kept against the pack, with your account link removed.
Past battery assignments
The dates a pack was out are kept so the battery’s history is unbroken. Your name is removed from them.
The vehicle record
Returned to the fleet rather than deleted.

What we are legally required to keep

Payment and deposit records for a Battery-as-a-Service agreement are kept as a financial record for as long as Indian law requires. After your account is deleted these hold no name, phone number or address — only the transactions.

If you still have one of our batteries

Deletion is refused while a DeepValley battery is assigned to you or a Battery-as-a-Service subscription is running. A physical asset and your refundable ₹12,000 deposit are outstanding, and an account that vanishes takes the record of both with it.

Return the battery or close the subscription with us first — write to connect@deepvalley.in and we will arrange it. Deletion is then available immediately.

Afterwards

Deletion is permanent and there is no recovery. Signing in again with the same phone number creates a new, empty account; it does not restore the old one.
